Learn how to apply mindful awareness into all that you do. This session, we will begin to embrace higher virtues, and masterfully incorporate them into our authentic Being. For example, learning how to embrace the virtue of patience will reward you with an on-going condition of unwavering “calm” whenever the outside world is offering you chaos.
This 6-Week session offers you training in advanced meditation techniques that incorporate the essence of higher virtues into your core essence. If you want peace in your life, then you must learn to BE peaceful in everything that you do… driving peacefully, listening to others peacefully, going to work with peacefully and joyfully…etc.
The essence of virtuous practices covered this session are:
- The practice of Generosity arises from a state of unselfishness and non-attachment to the outcome.
- Ethical practices involve integrity and self-discipline.
- Patience requires resilience and acceptance of all conditions and situations.
- Right Effort means taking right action in a joyous manner.
- Dedicated meditation invokes mindfulness, concentration, reflection and introspection, which leads to
- Wisdom that rises from kind, steady discernment.
It takes years to master the mind, and so our journey continues. This session offers you the opportunity to experience yourself as a Higher version of yourself. Learning to Master the Mind is a process, and advanced mindfulness training will expand your current realm of consciousness. Move pass the disturbances of the inner dialogue, and begin to experience absolute unwavering compassion for Self and others, and embraces the perfect Peace that this understanding offers.
What to Expect…
Our cozy location provides us with yoga bolsters and blankets so we are able to enjoy our meditation practices while engaged in restorative yoga poses.
Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.
Please arrive on time so that group meditation experiences are not disturbed.
Each week, there will be a short teaching and training, followed by a guided group meditation practice.
The teachings provide you with the knowledge of how to rise into a calm state of inner awareness that will guide you through compassion, and right action.
This course also offers you a guidebook and meditation practices to engage with each week as you cultivate a regular practice at home.
