You will come to KNOW exactly how to remain calm and centered even when anxiety, depression, or feelings of overwhelm rise to surface. A prefect way to release the past week, and reset your inner compass to inner peace and perfect balance.
The practices taught in this course will explore easy sitting or reclined yoga poses, pranayama (advanced breathing techniques,) mudra ( hand and body gestures,) and sound healing by use of mantra.
Proceeds from this class support the Buddhi Institute grassroots peace project: PEACE, Pray, LOVE.
This Open level group class you will experience a variety of authentic and healing meditation practices that will allow you to directly observe your own higher levels of consciousness. Each week offers a short Wisdom teaching, personalized training, guided meditation, and restorative yoga poses.
If you have had some meditation practice, but are ready to expand and deepen your practice, this open level group is the perfect place to Be.
Teachings are from the Yoga Sciences, in which you will be trained to master breath, while coming into a realm of profound peace. In this “place” you will begin to experience your own innate wisdom.
You will learn how to be-friend and then master the inner dialogue, emotional patterns, and habits of the mind.
What to Expect…
Our cozy location provides us with yoga bolsters and blankets so we are able to enjoy our meditation practices while engaged in restorative yoga poses. For those with back or knee issues, chairs are provided for your comfort.
Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.
Please arrive on time so that group meditation experiences are not disturbed.
Each week, there will be a short teaching from the Yoga Sciences and Philosophies, followed by a guided group meditation practice.
This course also offers you a guidebook and meditation practices to engage with each week as you cultivate a regular practice at home.
