Once we learn how to maintain and ‘seat’ ourselves in the higher realms of consciousness available to us, emotional disturbances such as anxiety fade away, lose their power, transform, and become the wisdom we need to discover our own authentic condition of inner peace and mental calm.
MIND EMOTION CONNECTION
The power of thought and the power of emotion are both great powers. To ‘guide’ ourselves toward Wholeness, it is necessary to use the power of emotion as a tool to evolve our consciousness. This requires embracing a practice of re-directing the habits of the mind to where you want to "go."
THE 5 BODIES OF YOGA
You are inhabitant of a complex and unique five-body system. It is comprised of your physical body, emotional body, mental body, spiritual body, and an energy blueprint template called the etheric body. Success and personal fulfillment rely on your ability to balance these five bodies.

Mindful Awareness, and kindness toward the emotion is the only way to untangle yourself from the pattern, habit, and tendency of the stress response to whatever has the “power” to pull you out of Center. For this reason, when Anxiety rises, a wise Spiritual Warrior notices the “shift” from peace to “chaos” and kindly acknowledges the Anxiety.

These are only a few examples, but overall, not matter what the "cause," turbulent emotions such as anxiety are storytellers.
Any turbulent emotion that you frequently experience as a dominant "force" in your life is simply a Storyteller. The panic attack is a message from your sub-conscious mind that is trying to tell you something, or keep you safe from something. In short, the sensation is trying to protect you...not sabotage you, or limit you. Panic, overwhelm, racing thoughts, belong to a limited realm of consciousness that functions with the goal of self-protection.
There's a Higher Way! There's an enlightened way to settle the mind, and calm the emotions, so you can actually "hear" the "story," and then choose if the "story" serves you. This is called Absolute Awareness, and with this skill, you learn to Master the Emotion, make peace with it, and Let it Go.
